Answer: General Hydroponics catalogs are available through dealers in Canada and the USA. If you do not have a dealer in your area, call, write or email in with your name and address to have a copy mailed to your door.

HOW CAN I BECOME A GENERAL HYDROPONICS RETAIL DEALER?

Answer: Persons wanting to become a retail store selling GH can go two routs, direct or through a distributor (distributor only outside the USA). Persons going through a distributor will receive the same customer support that direct dealers do. Dealing directly you will be able to order more sizes of products and products that distributors do not carry. To become a direct dealer of GH products, call or email in with a fax number to have a dealer application sent to you. GH requires a store front, business license, state tax id, $1,500+ first order and orders totaling $12,000 annually. Once the application is received by GH, we will have a response for you within two weeks. If you choose to go through a distributor (Sunlight Supply, Hydrofarm or Bloomington Wholesale are major distributors) you will need to contact them directly.

WHEN WAS GENERAL HYDROPONICS CREATED?

Answer: In the mid 1970's a group of scientists, engineers and technicians came together with a common goal, to advance agricultural technology by a quantum leap; together they created the General Hydroponics Company.
